Important: my ps4 is better than my xbox?

My Ps4 slim is somehow much better than my Xbox one (1st gen) in terms of graphics and fps. Fortnite looks and runs much better on ps4 too. Is it because of my 55 inch 4k tv that it is more suitable for ps4, or is my xbox broken? Or is the Ps4 simply the more powerful console?
