Mouse and keyboard don't work in Smite on Xbox one?

I just bought the keyboard and mouse to play on my Xbox Smite. However, these no longer work as soon as I start the game. Why is that?

You can't play the game on the Xbox with a keyboard and mouse, but there's a PC version.

No, the game has k & m support according to Xbox, so that's definitely possible.

Fact. Ok you have to set in the options that Smite should use mouse & keyboard and of course configure the stuff in the Xbox Settings.
