Who can recommend me a good work computer?

So I have laid the groundwork for a gaming PC the MFS2020 should loosely shut down.

These PCs are just too expensive for me, I play the game then only on the XBox… For just a game with such conditions makes no sense…

So now I'm looking for a normal work computer.

Editing videos and images should not cause problems for the PC… Otherwise, something from Lenovo and with CD player / burner… Also, maybe with warranty extension. I do not want to assemble a computer myself…

Budget 500, - €, which is also upstairs… I just do not know myself in this area, my current laptop has been running for 10 years without any problems, but the requirements are higher.

Since I probably have to get another screen, is also the question of whether it should be more of a laptop again?

I would be very happy about targeted answers, please leave everything else…

That should be enough. It's good for your budget, because 8 GB of RAM is enough for a work PC and 500 watts of power supply are enough. AMD Ryzen 5 2400G has an integrated graphics card, so graphics card need net in addition to buy.

SSD should be there and HDD is also inside. Housing too.

Processor has an AM4 socket, thus compatible with the AMD Ryzen processor

For Internet, Multimedia & Office you can take https://hardwarerat.de/...-8gb/240gb from Hardwarerat.de, but this PC is lightning fast thanks to the SSD & Ryzen CPU. Since Win 10 is already preinstalled, only mouse / keyboard / screen you have to get yourself.

For good gaming you would have to take thehttps://hardwarerat.de/gaming-pcs/140/gaming-pc-hardwarerat-800?number=SW10131.

As a monitor, you can take any monitor with FullHD (1920x1080).

PS: From laptops, I guess rather, the cost for the same performance about twice, and go faster broken.

I do not want to assemble a computer myself…

He does not want to build it himself. With the 150 euro Servocekosten of MF is loose on the budget.

And why are you posting it individually and not as a shopping cart?

Of course, but is cheaper… If he has $ 500 budget.

Here is a tip from me. Install the Linux distribution Lubuntu on the laptop:

32bit if you have less than 4GB RAM: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/...p-i386.iso

64bit if you have 4GB RAM or more: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/...-amd64.iso

This is the current stable long-term support version. If a new long-term support version appears, Lubuntu's Update Manager will report this and provide an update.

After the download just write the ISO with this tool https://unetbootin.github.io/ on a blank formatted USB stick. The stick must be formatted FAT32. Then boot the stick. If you can't boot from USB, there's a solution for that: you need the Plop Boot Manager. This is a boot CD containing a USB bootloader. Here is the download: https://download.plop.at/files/bootmngr/plpbt-5.0.15.zip Unpack the ZIP and then burn the plpbt.iso with this tool on a blank CD. The other files are not important. Then the burned CD into the laptop, plug in the created stick, turn on and boot from CD. The boot menu of the CD appears. Select USB there.

Just follow the instructions of the installer. He immediately sets up the WLAN and offers the possibility to completely delete the hard disk. I recommend a full installation. The latest Firefox, Libreoffice, multimedia components and tools will be installed right away.

Lubuntu goes down on over 10 year old devices like a rocket and barely scratching on the system resources. By comparison, Windows is a lame duck.
