My son really wants a new console. But since I've read that the new Xbox will be out at the end of this year, I'd like to buy him that. (When it is available or when pre-orders begin)
My question:
If I pre-order the console from Saturn (as always) and then also receive the collection confirmation by email, could I pick up the console in the late afternoon or would the console already be sold out? The website says that you have 6 days to pick it up, but since many people go to business early in the morning for a new console, I wanted to ask whether this "rule" also applies.
The console is reserved for you for almost 6 days. It is only sold regularly after 6 days
Call Saturn and ask. You will get a precise and 100% correct answer
If you already pay online they can't just tell you: "Pitch away, your money is back here" so I guess you can pick them up there. It looks different if you only paid on site, I guess as long as stocks last
The reservations are made chronologically in the order in which the orders are received. If the availability is shown positively in the shop, collection should be possible without any problems.
If you pre-order, you will receive a proof of purchase. You then need this for the purchase (cash register bong). If you already pay for the console, it usually stays there and nobody can snatch it away.
If you don't pay it and you don't come, it'll be gone after a few days.
There's usually a shelf in the warehouse where consoles that have been pre-ordered are put back… Of course you can pick them up in the afternoon, it just won't be put away for you after the collection period ends.
Had to pay for the console online anyway. But I just wanted to make sure that I would get it 100%, even if I walk into the shop in the afternoon.
In the beginning I planned to pre-order it in the online shop and then pay on site. You can also only make down payments on site, right? An instant transfer would also be an option for me. But would the console be safe for me with an instant transfer, even if I didn't go to the store in the morning?
But since I want to pay with immediate transfer in the online shop, it doesn't really matter whether I pick up the console in the morning or in the afternoon? You are actually not allowed to give the console to someone else in advance, or am I wrong?
I plan to go there on the first day but since I will be working I can only be in the afternoon. I'm just worried that they'll give the console to another pre-orderer and then I can't / won't get one for my son.
Once the item is paid for, who will be put aside for you. Point.
