Is Planetside 2 better on PC or PS4?

Hi, I discovered Planetside 2 on Steam and it piqued my interest. Therefore I wanted to ask you whether Planetside 2 is better on the PS 4 in terms of graphics or rather on PC.

If you tend to PC, is it easy to play with an Xbox controller?

Boa I haven't played it in ages, but I still have it on my PC, I would say it's awesome because I can handle Aimen better because of the mouse and keyboard

In general, you can always say that every game is better on an adequate computer, simply because of the performance aspect. On a good computer, you can easily achieve 120 FPS on a console when it comes to games like Planetside 60. This results in a smoother gameplay and therefore better aim.

However, if you don't have the money for a good computer, the console is a better choice.

I only played it on a PC so I can't distinguish between Planetside 2 on a console or a PC.
But what I can say makes me go back almost two decades: I was playing UT 2004 on the console and on the PC. I liked the PC gameplay much better.
The "aiming" alone is much more intensive and more challenging.

I have never played it on PS4 before, but have collected 2k + hours of gaming on my PC.

Graphics are always better on a decent PC than on PlayStation (regardless of the game)

I play with mouse / keyboard but I can imagine that a controller would also be cool to fly.

Depends on your hardware. I also played a bit of a planetside and never actually got below 140 fps, even in big battles. Occasionally in large areas 135.

So me and my squad mates all have a good pc and in we had 3-4 fights where we had freezes of death. Think that was more about the game than our setup.

Partly, partly. The game is very unoptimized and generally predestined to lag / freeze due to the many players / effects, but with a processor of the new generation, in the right setup you actually have no problems with it.

So I know that two of them bought current 3k PCs (wasted money in my opinion) and also had freezes.

In the meantime, the game runs smoothly in 90% of the fights.

I currently have a PC with a 3rd generation Amd processor and a GeForce RTX 2070 Super, I don't think it will fail due to the hardware.

Yes, most of the other games have told me that it's just better.

The graphics on the PS4 are comparable to a middle-class PC. The gameplay and I'm almost sure it feels much better on the PC.

But that's sometimes true, I find the controls on the PS4 much easier because I haven't played on PC for long.

Unfortunately, the price does not always say everything about a computer. It is also important that the parts are coordinated. If you somehow have a bottleneck, so a bottleneck to German, a part that limits your performance, the best hardware does nothing for you.

I bought mine for almost 3000 euro about 6 months ago and had no problems, not even minimal freezes.

It's all a matter of optimization.

Why do you even consider playing on PS4 with a decent PC?

Well, because I like to play some games on the PS 4, I have been used to playing on the PS 4 for a long time, so I only play on the PC in between, depending on the game and what I like.
