Depending on what the exclusive titles of the new consoles look like. Usually that's Sony for me, but I don't have enough need for a new console.
Now all the PC fanboys will complain again, but I don't care, in my opinion gaming is more fun on the PlayStation, I also play PC, but I'm more fun on the Ps4 right now because you have the community the PC can't show who arrives now anyway and thinks the PC would be better anyway has no hobbies.
It is still too early to decide on one of the two consoles, and far too little details are known for that. Fortunately, the question of "or PC" does not arise for me because there's always a PC with enough power in the house and I have always had a PC and console to choose the one that is best for me, depending on the game.

If you really only want to gamble and for whom the game selection fits, then a console is well advised.

Above all, I wonder how you got the idea that there was no PC gaming community. Have you watched the e-sports events for LoL or CS: GO? Which console-exclusive game has such a huge and active community?
These communities are only game-related, PlayStation summarizes everything that is what I like, and if you knew how all the PC types represent consoles you would know why I write like this.
