Xbox Series S or Ps5 Digital Edition?

Does anyone know where you can buy a cheap Ssd for the Series S or say it's not worth it and should buy me a Ps5 Digital Edition

Se

So I can tell you right now that a Playstation 5 wouldn't be worth it. The Xbox Series X is much better in comparison. The Xbox has so many advantages that the Ps5 doesn't. The Xbox offers GamePass, backwards compatibility for all Xbox titles (so you can play all games that were / are on the ps1-ps5 on the Xbox), the controller is a thousand times better, the hardware is better than that of the Ps5, the design looks nicer and the Xbox Series X offers real 4K and not just upscaled like the Ps5. The Ps5 doesn't even offer 1440P. If you want something cheap you can buy the Xbox Series S.

Ev

Unfortunately, the Series S can only be expanded with the expensive SSD via the official slot. But this should be as fast as the internal one.

Hu

Who says the Ps5 doesn't have native 4k?

And the Xbox Series, as well as the Playstation 5, are about the digital versions, not the Series X etc. ^^ And with the digital versions, the Ps5 has the edge in terms of hardware technology ^^

And how should it go to play Playstation games on the Xbox Series? At most games that were available for both platforms at that time ^^

With the controller, but it's a matter of taste… Hope, of course, you have already been able to test both if you are of the opinion that the one from the Xbox is "better" ^^

The Series X is stronger on the whole… But in the end, it depends on how well the hardware is used later. First of all, performance brings you, not much viel

Ev

So you can play all games that were / are on the ps1-ps5 on the Xbox

Eh, no. The PlayStation has exclusive titles that will not appear on the XBox. And old PS games can't be pushed into the XBox either.

Se

I didn't mention anything about exclusive games, because Xbox doesn't really have any.

"And you can't push old PS games into the XBox either", who can read has a clear advantage.

I mean the same games that were on the Playstation / you can also buy a version of Xbox either digitally or on DVD

Se

"And how should it go to play Playstation games on the Xbox Series? At most games that were available for both platforms at the time ^^", that's exactly what I mean. Then there was and still will be

Pa

I would rather go with the PS5 Digital Edition. Here are a few advantages

More memory offers (1TB or 1024GB instead of the 512GB of the XSS
better games (see e.g. Spider-Man), but that's just my opinion
the performance corresponds to that of the correct PS5 with drive, so the PS5 is more powerful

Of course, the PS5 Digital Edition also has disadvantages

costs more (approx. 100 euro more), i.e. Approx. 400 euro for the PS5 Digital Edition and approx. 300 euro for the XSS
can't do 1440p (1080p and 4K are not a problem)
no real backward compatibility to PS3, PS2 and PS1 titles
old accessories can't be used except in PS4 mode

If I were you, I would save on an Xbox Series X or PS5, because a drive is important. If you can do without a drive, then the digital editions of the Xbox and PS are sufficient.

Se

"no real backward compatibility to PS3, PS2 and PS1 titles", also the Ps5 with drive has no real backward compatibility to Ps3, Ps2 and Ps1.

And you can't do that.

Pa

You're right, your comment applies to both consoles. Still, that's a negative point for the PS5 Digital Edition because the XSS has a better AK than either PS5 console.

Pa

So according to your answer, I could play the new Spider-Man game on the XSX.

Ke

Icu would pack a hundred of yours and buy an Xbox Series X straight away. It is better than the Playstation 5 Digital and Xbox Series S and also offers significantly more storage space. (ps5 600GB, XSS 364GB, XSX 802GB)

Ke

This is nonsense you Playstation 5 has a small 825GB SSD installed. Of this, only about 600GB can be used

Sony is not known for good optimizations or good hardware. Your hardware is always out of date.
