Doesn't sound particularly good / normal. 😄 I've never had it. But I also use mine extremely rarely. There are usually months in between. So I can't say much about wear.
Seems to be something on the fan
This is a rare defect. You can have the console sent to Microsoft for this, provided that you have the guarantee for it *. You can see how long your Xbox One is still guaranteed by Microsoft on https://account.microsoft.com/...=MeControl. Then go to "Devices: X Manage" and you will see a list of devices you can manage. You then look for your One X and go to "Show Details".
As you can see, there's a bar on the console for how long it is still guaranteed. From there you can take steps on how to send your console to Microsoft and have it repaired.
If your One X is not listed, scroll down to the bottom of the device list where a window with a circled plus symbol appears and "First steps" appears. - you click on that now.
A window will appear asking you to enter your Xbox One X serial number. Using the screenshots here, you can easily find out the serial number on your console. Once you have entered the serial number and saved it, you can now open the information on the console, how long it still has. And do it as before in the first step.
My Xbox One X is running silently. It only gets loud when I play games like Muss Effect Andromeda, then the fan turns up a bit (then sounds like a brand new fan at level 0.5)
