I recently tested my cell phone (Honor 9X) with my Xbox 360 controller to see whether it works at all. What I already know is that at least the keyboard, mouse and USB sticks work as well as audio USB adapters (which is unfortunately quiet).
To do this, I transfer it via a USB hub (3 USB ports, 1 HDMI input) so that it could be better. I'll leave a video so that you can understand.
Link to the video (it's a MOV video, recorded by my Coolpix L340):

Will it still work or not?
The answer is very simple. The driver is missing. If the driver for a device is not available in your Android, it will not work and this applies to your controller.
The Xbox 360 controller can only be used with subscription 360 because it works wirelessly and not Bluetooth
Then why does the Xbox 360 controller work on the console and my computer (Windows 10; I'm currently using) but not on the phone? Because I really don't understand.
Moin, but then you don't have the standard version of the 360, but the wireless version (or do you connect it to the pc via cable?).
