Huh, many say that the consoles can't do that.
I just don't understand anything. With hdmi 2.1 even 8k should be possible.
It is theoretically possible, but in practice it will not be feasible in many games, especially now at the beginning of the release.
Some games will manage that, others only 60fps on 4k, most but probably only 30 fps on 4k because even the most powerful graphics card still has its problems with it and it costs over 1k ^^ is just as important as the developers do for them optimize consoles
With the console from KFC (KFConsole), which is to be released soon, 4k and 240 fps should be possible! 😂
And what does that have to do with my question?
The Playstation 5 now only manages to render 1080p, it can scale a maximum of 2160p. 1440p and 4,320p although the console was actively promoted with it.
The Xbox Series X creates native 4K in most games without having to scale. A resolution of 1440p and or 4,320p is possible with the Xbox Series X.
4K 120fps, is not available in every game, as it doesn't make sense in every game either. The console with the most 120FPS support is still the Xbox Series X.
The Playstation 5 has 4K @ 120fps games, but the resolution is not native in any game. The games are calculated in 1080p, but upscaled to 2160p.
The KFConsole is actually just a PC with the latest i9, RTX graphics card, 2 SSD, etc. The part will cost well over 500 euro.
