I bought XBOX Gold 12 months ago and it apparently was renewed automatically without me knowing it (apparently the default setting). Yesterday (on June 10th, 2020) 60 euro were now debited from my PayPal account and I have only now found out how to deactivate the automatic renewal. Is there any way I can refund the payment, after all, the purchase was only a day ago and I haven't used the service since then. Can I maybe reduce the subscription to one month or do you think it makes sense to write to the support?

You subscribed a year ago and it has now been extended for another year, so the "purchase" wasn't only a day ago.

You yourself can't "reduce" anything at all.
And I don't think support will do anything, but trying doesn't hurt either.
You can of course cancel now, then the contract expires in a year, but you will have to pay that long.
Ok, apparently I was lucky because the support gave me a refund.
