I recently got an XBox one s and installed Minecraft. Since I'm very fascinated by shaders, I asked myself whether you can "download" a shader?
Download: yes
Install: no
use: no
Pity…
Download it, but I don't think you can use it on the Xbox, so it works on Bedrock in general, e.g. In the PE edition, texture packs and mods are also possible. But galub doesn't work on the console (xbox, ps4)
There are some in the Minecraft Xbox Store. But the cost is money. And not just a little. You can use the same for free in the Java Edition.
Perhaps on the Playstation, as you have a completely open operating system there and you can easily add and remove game files
These "shader" packs also work on the One. However, you can only load it onto the console under certain circumstances. These normal shader packs (I don't mean the raytracing packs!) Are unfortunately not available in the Minecraft Marketplace.
Personally, I'm not a fan of such "shader" packages because they always show such a "hot shader" in the Internet browser, for example on the mcpedl website if you look at the comments then you realize that these shader packs are pretty cheap. Then there are certain RTX packs that have the right ray tracing, i.e. Where shadows are cast, water and tree leaves move correctly and so on… So far, only the Windows 10 version from Bedrock supports such RTX packs downloaded from the minecraft marketplace and used if you have an Nvidia graphics card. Unfortunately, these packs are not supported on Xbox One. On the other hand, it looks better on the Xbox Series X | S, as the consoles are powerful enough and support ray tracing. - At the moment you can't use ray tracing in Minecraft either, the packs are not displayed in Minecraft Marketplace, and if you pack an RTX package via USB on the console, the game shows that the device would not support ray tracing. The reason for this is that Minecraft Bedrock has not been optimized for the series either and it still takes a while before you can enjoy raytracing in Minecraft on the Xbox Series X | S. So if you want to have these normal shaders on your One (like this "SEUS PE Shader") then write to me and I'll give you instructions on how to get such packs on your Xbox. But if you want these real RTX packs, you either need a Windows 10 PC with a compatible Nvidia Graka or you get an Xbox Series X or S and wait a while before the game series is optimized.
PS I've already tried several of these RTX packs to work on my Xbox. I have an Xbox One X and a Series S, and I couldn't activate the RTX functions on either. One is clear, too weak (which is a shame) and Series, because the game on which the One version is still on and therefore not yet optimized.
Sorry for various spelling mistakes, my on-screen keyboard is the last rubbish.
