Playstation 4 pro (Ps4) or XBOX ONE X?

I would like to get a new console after a while, but I'm a little unsure which console to use. The gaming shop I trust sells a Playstation 4 pro for around 250 euro and an Xbox one x for around 225 euro. Which of the consoles should I use? It would be good if the console was a little more powerful.

I'm the type of gamer:

-Games like: FORTNITE, GTA V, WATCHDOGS 2, THE WALKING DEAD; THE LAST OF US

-Resolution: 4k

If you have friends who also have a Playstation, take a Playstation.

Both 👍😁

It's a little too much.

If your friends have one of the two consoles, I'd go for that. If the choice is limited to you, then I would take the Xbox, because it simply has the better specs and more power. Personally, I think Xbox and Microsoft are generally much better than Sony!

Ma

Find both good would not matter in my opinion.

I'm more of a solo gamer.

The Xbox One X is more powerful as far as I know. But the PS4 has a lot more good single player games that are playstation only… So you have to weigh up, but I would still tend towards the Playstation.

For example, I can only tell you that at Xbox you have a gamepass that costs only a little per month, but an extreme number of games!

The Xbox also works with native 4k so really 4k resolution, the PS upscaled the picture.

I always had an xbox and ps, the xbox was always the best for me. I can gamble there, and if I want to, just continue to gamble on my mobile phone or PC. Or just play a game from the first Xbox, native! With the PS you stream everything that is from the older ps.

A statement that immediately exposes the ignorant.

In most games, both scale up the difference between the native resolution and 4K (which is nothing bad at all), only the XBox does that from a higher (resolution) level.

So in terms of performance, the X1X is significantly ahead. However, like all consoles of the last generation, it is severely limited by the processor. Since it is also cheaper than the PS4 Pro, if there are no preferences regarding exclusive titles and friends, I would rather recommend it.

Incidentally, I'm a PS4 Pro (and PS5) owner.

Thanks for the helpful answer

Most games are native 4k. And with the PS4 there's no native at all. Please do not know, and with the right method also test which games run natively, namely games that are specially marked in the store.

Be

If you can see whether it runs natively in 4k, that's better
