Was not my taste.
99% only normal XBOX games that run on the ONE, ONE S or X.
No exclusive games (xbox series X only, no PS5 or Nintendo) planned for the release of the new console.
Also fail with these side by side commentators like "DSDS".
overall a video that personally disappointed me.
Since I find this press dates from Microsoft in the big black halls only with Phil Spencer much more interesting, because more level!
The graphic has become a meme on Twitter. 😂 Even the Xbox community laughs about it (well most of them). Incredible how to defend something like that.
Boring yes but the live stream from Sony has taken everything apart from Xbox. XD
Nope
But.
There are no Series X Exclusives yet because Microsoft demands that all games that appear after the release of Series X must be playable on One for at least 1 year.
Of course, this is an obstacle to technology.
However, Microsoft does not force anyone to switch immediately at launch due to exclusives.
However, there was one thing. Forza Motorsport will probably only be released in 2 years and actually looked outstanding.
I think you can't really say good or bad for something like that for me personally there wasn't much I liked, but I've always been with xbox so that I just don't like most exclusive titles. Sony is simply far stronger with ghost of tsushima which for me personally is a real masterpiece and many other games. Found the presentation anything but bad so whoever likes halo etc was really lucky and the new dontnod game also looked exciting
When I saw the live stream, I was a little disappointed at first. No better or worse than the PS5 event, more on that later, but also no eye opener or argument to buy the Series X for release. As you can see I stand or in my case better said I was not alone with the opinion.
But in retrospect it was a very balanced and good presentation with numerous titles of every kind and a great argument for the gamepass. If you look at all the trailers again individually and more precisely in 4k instead of the sometimes jerky stream limited to 1080p, you can also see the technical improvements.
In addition, there's obviously information that is probably not familiar to everyone and therefore can't really emphasize the performance of the Series X and thereby diminish the impression of many. I want to give this to all skeptics and grumblers so that they can put their judgment into perspective again.
Since Microsoft specifies that all games that appear with the release of Series X must continue to run on a One, this is of course a technical hurdle for the developers. You have to take the current consoles as a basis, but you are free to play the games, similar to the One to the One X, to optimize for the Series X.
Although that means a subtly better frame rate, resolution or general graphics, none of the games are Series X exclusive. The true performance can't be called up because the old generation slows down the developers.
It's part of Microsoft's strategy for at least a year. Only then will exclusive games appear. The reason for this is even understandable but apparently poorly communicated, since it has not yet reached the heads of gamers. You don't force Xbox players to buy a new expensive platform because of exclusives, they give them time. And over time, optimized Series X Exclusives will come.
But with Forza Motorsports there was a preview of what the console is capable of, which will probably only appear in 2021 or even 2022. It looked so good that it is hard to believe that ingame graphics were presented here. The Gran Tourismo demo at the Sony Event, on the other hand, just looks lame.
In addition, you should know that the Halo presentation due to Corona is based on a half-year-old developer build and is therefore not up to date. For example, Raytracing is firmly committed to appearing on the Series X. I thought it was great anyway.
State of Decay 3 with reasonable graphics, Everwild by Rare with a magical look, stalkers, or Warhammer are, although no gameplay, games to look forward to. Especially with the power of the Series X.
Clearly there were absolute disappointments. Tetris, seriously? Or what is the short clip from Hellblade? Destiny 2 optimized for Series X in gamepass?
But overall it was really very short and mostly quite interesting.
Of course, the most hyped me was the announcement of Fable, although that was suspected in advance. This will also be an exclusive in 1 or 2 years, but the announcement alone is awesome.
And now something about the PS5 event to make the comparison. What should I flash so that I have to buy the console? An addon for Spiderman with pretty graphics of the main game? A Gran Tourismo that didn't look impressive and the release is unknown? The same applies to Horizon Zero Dawn 2 which looked great but will not be a launch title and the predecessor got boring after half time? Or a remake of an ancient Demon Souls that looked so-so and just doesn't interest me?
So, sorry has become a bit much, but I wanted to share my impressions and opinions so that sworn fanboys or haters just rethink their opinion.
Well, is there a fan boy speaking?
and not biased at all…
Well then take a look at my admittedly very detailed answer and hopefully you will revise your biased opinion.
With what exactly? Or better asked why should I buy the PS5 right away? One reason based on their event is enough.
"having to change at the start due to exclusives." Pretty much the stupidest "marketing" strategy ever. You can forget about the new Xbox right away.
Are you just a fanboy? Try to defend the Xbox here by all means.
Well, actually, it's actually quite customer-friendly. Whether One, PC or Series X, everyone can play what they want.
I think the Series X is not important to Microsoft in terms of sales. They tend to push the gamepass and it's really great.
And when the first, hopefully super-looking exclusives come in 20021 or 2022, the Series X will have already dropped in price.
Do you have easy understanding problems?
My comment related to Mimimimi498. He means biased and completely subjective that Microsoft has won here.
And I wanted to criticize that with my comment.
Funny me because of that to assume fanboytum.
That being said, you might defend it, I call it explanations.
