Although the new Xbox Series X console is better in my opinion because you can connect an external 1TB so you have almost 2TB which is not possible with the new Ps5 and where I find 1TB is too little.
The Playstation has always been more popular regardless of the technology. Probably for some simply because of the name and the exclusive games.
In addition, Sony currently has problems with the chips and has produced a few million copies too few and now all of them are already sold out and they can't keep up.
The demand is so high because "Playstation" has simply standardized itself.
Many small children or teenagers buy a console without really knowing what the disadvantages of it or do they hardly deal with the console at all.
I'm already looking forward to September 22nd, because Microsoft / Xbox can show what they can do there. Even if sales figures are uninteresting and subscribers are more important, the Xbox Series X and S will be a complete success
I'll say that too, and it won't be as messy with pre-orders as it was with the Ps5.
If I take myself as an example: The memory is useless if there are no games that interest me.
Of course you can also hang external plates on the PS5. However, games benefit particularly from the internal hard drive, as it is extremely fast and common hard drives can't keep up with it.
The internal memory should also be expandable and Sony supposedly wants to introduce something about it soon.
But at least you don't have to worry about the Xbox that it will be out of stock. 😄
Sony has been the market leader for years and has made video gaming more or less mainstream. They also have an excellent portfolio of exclusives, something that Microsoft totally missed with the One.
That together is enough for people to simply access it without thinking too much.
A surefire success for Sony.
