I have the problem that my steering wheel (Logitech G29) is recognized by some games as an Xbox controller and from then on I can no longer use my keyboard. About half a year ago, I had problems with Epic Games games and now actually only with Resident Evil 2 Remake, on Steam. Other games on Steam don't have the problem and the problem wasn't there from the start, but I didn't change anything. In racing games that support steering wheels, everything works and it is recognized as normal.
I can then hang the steering wheel from the power supply and unplug it, but that's pretty annoying in the long run. I can also deactivate the device, but I have to restart my PC every time, which is also quite annoying. That's why I would like to have a different solution in which I neither have to disconnect my steering wheel from the power nor restart my PC.
If someone needs my PC specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Current drivers
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
MSI B450M Pro-VDH MAX
Geforce RTX 2060 great
16 GB Ram at 3000 MHz
Ufff okay… I would say unfortunately you just have to unplug your steering wheel because that is a wanted function. Otherwise, if you are sure that this should not be the case, try a driver update and / or a question in the Logitech forum or, if necessary, simply contact the logitech customer support.
LG hope I could help you ^ - ^
