What wire to repair AAA battery door?

I have an old wireless XBOX controller that uses batteries.
Unfortunately, the previous owner has run out of battery. As a result, the springs of the battery compartment are so extremely corroded and broken that they are no longer useful.

Now I would like to make a replacement for the springs / bend and solder.

The previous bare wire was 0.5mm and was silver.

The wire should be bendable, so that I can bend the springs (spiral), but also remain strong enough so that it can be threaded through the previous plastic and also the spring in the longer term "in shape" remains.

"Silver wire" is probably eliminated rather because most of the copper core, which makes it very bendable but also out of the form.

Which wire would I have to use for this?

Preferably with a link or exact name, because then I can buy any.

Should be spring steel. But you come very hard bent. Buy there for a few cents what finished. There are many designs

Many Thanks.
"Contact pen" was the keyword, after which I now find exactly what I'm looking for…
Even with Ali there's then a lot of it under "aaa contact spring".
Top!
Will also try to bend the spring out of a paper clip. Maybe that's enough (at least until the delivery from CN is there).

You could have upgraded that part from any other dead, battery-powered device.

Unfortunately, I'm under-supplied with dead devices, at least in AAA size.

Paperclip does not work. Too soft. I probably could not put spring steel in the right shape.

Exactly. Springs are first bent and then hardened. Of course you could try that, but the effort…

Before I dispose of devices, I disassemble them completely for some years. This is always interesting and there are also a few spare parts. Regardless of it seems to me, I can separate up to the component size better than any recycling machine.
