Is the xbox one s recommended?

I would like an Xbox for Christmas, but I don't know my way around that well and would like to know whether the Xbox One S is recommended and if so, does anyone have games that they can recommend to me?

No longer worth it, I would get the new Xbox Series S because the one s will soon be End of Life. Have the ones themselves, this is a good console that is not too loud, has a 4k Bluray drive and good games. But if you want to gamble with an xbox in the future, get the xbox series s (successor to the one s) or the series x and if you get one, check out the Forza Horizon series
