Hi
I bought an XBox controller for the One from Libro almost 5 weeks ago. A stick is now so defective that it sticks constantly. The nice ladies there said that I have to contact XBox Support.
Is that really true or isn't the business actually responsible for an exchange or at least for the return within the short period of time?
What are your experiences with it?
In the shop you have 30 days right of return or something… Depending on what is stated in the shop. When the time is up… It's up to the manufacturer. However, some providers are accommodating and send it to the manufacturer
In Austria (Libro) there's no general right of return in shops, everything else is goodwill.
The seller is responsible within the first six months.
This is related to the burden of proof on his part.
Then he can refer you to the manufacturer because you have the burden of proof.
The legal guarantee is 2 years.
