For some games, the saves are saved in the cloud, others can be dragged to a USB stick and loaded onto the new Xbox.
And what about cables and my Microsoft account? What do I have to do if I want to set up a new Xbox console? So that my account as it is now available?
Your account will go to the console if you simply use it to log in to the console. You can use cables from the old one, but of course a new Xbox also comes with new cables.

Not worth it for me because firstly I will not have the money for the Series x and even if I would rather take the best of the older one because the Series x will probably take at least 2 years until the patches and updates and improvements are done and the price for me okey is
Nothing would change my decision, just sometimes a question makes me wonder whether the Xbox one x will still be supported after the release or if there are still players to be found and whether you can just continue to have the gaming experience like now.
All games coming in 2021 will be playable on both Xbox systems. In 2022 it will start that games will only run on the Series X.
