I bought an XBOX One today and am currently downloading 2 games. They last at least another 5-8 hours. How does it look, can I let you run the night so that the games are downloaded tomorrow? Or is there a standby mode / can you switch off the XBOX?
Yes, it is possible to download games on Xbox One while it is turned off. In settings you go under "System" to "Update and Downloads". There you check the box "Always update my console" and "Always update my games and apps". Thus, started downloads of games are assumed when you switch off the console.
