Red LED on the xbox one Afterglow controller?

I have my xbox one afterglow controller a red LED lights permanently shine it is quite in the middle and keeps red on the shine can someone please tell me how can I put it out?

The afterglow controller of Xbox lights up normally in different colors if the red LED belongs to these normal colors you should be able to turn them off with the afterglow app which you should be able to download in the Xbox Store. If the red LED lights up for a different reason then maybe not.
