I have a certainly 2 year old controller, which jams when pressing the buttons and the left stick does not do what it should. If I replaced the buttons and the sticks with the controller, would it work without any problems or is it due to the internal technology? Unfortunately I do not know anything like that at all
Open and take a look at the Internet, the spare parts would probably be available.
I would rather recommend a new one. I have no idea about rebuilding.
What I can tell you, however, that after two years of such wear is quite normal. Especially the left stick gives way the fastest. Inside, it is pushed back over a spring system and over time, this gives way. However, this is quite normal due to the mechanical stress.
