Can I build a console?

Hey guys i wanted to ask if you can build your own console? So everything like a ps4 or xbox

You can try it out. So it works but you have to get parts in yourself, make the operating system, make a game store, etc. But it is difficult.

The simplest implementation would be a Raspberry PI and emulations. Keyword retropia. On Amazon and various other platforms, there are various housings for the Pi that are based on older consoles.

Remember you need various accessories, a total of 150 euro quickly go away. You can also buy an old console at auction.

Or simply populate with lakka. Actually works really well. The idea with the case is also really nice.

I didn't know Lakka before. (For the reading http://www.lakka.tv/) The Roms have to be found online again. In the meantime, some pages are no longer available. It's also a legal dark gray zone. To the case, yes that would be nice²have but I would not pay for it. I also know that I would not actively play with it and it just gets dusty anyway.

I agree with you. It's a thing with emulators, some think it's great, others don't. That with the ROMs can be quite dangerous if you don't know exactly what you are downloading. I like lakka because the GUI is similar to the PS3 / 4 GUI.
