You can put a distributor in there. You should just not plug the Develo IN a distributor but into a socket.

It's CE certified and Devolo isn't a China brand either. The specified is 3600 watts, so you can add a lot to it!
Great, what can't happen there, but it has no extraordinary voltage protection, so the DLan module should not survive a direct lightning strike.
