I recently noticed that I have screen tearing on my Xbox while playing, so to speak what G-sync and Freesync are for on the PC, that you don't have it. I have already changed my HDMI cable, but this only reduced the frequency of screen tearing.
The question arises in which game this occurs for you.
There's nothing you can do about it. On the PC you could simply test different Vsync settings, on the Xbox you have to live with it (or buy a monitor with FreeSync)

I would strongly doubt that because the cable does not change the FPS. Was probably a placebo.
Some console games also have a setting for when screen tearing should occur. Rainbow Six Siege would be an example.
It would just be interesting which game is affected in the FS. With the new AC this happens frequently at the moment, so you will have to wait for updates.
Which Xbox do you own?
The box has setting options to correct this, but the television must also play along.
