Is it possible to buy the Xbox Live Gold subscription only once?

So in the xbox store live gold is just down (to 12 euro) and I have 15 euro credits but because the Xbox Store wants to make sure that I have enough money in three months to extend the subscription I need now 32 euro credit to me at all first to buy but I do not have: / So my question: can I somehow handle this?

The Gold subscription is for 1 year. Silver for 6 months and bronze for 3 months I think.

What you mean then is not gold - but a sample subscription for gold. Which then automatically extends after time X - hence the 32 euro

And with 32 euro you are still cheap - because these normal white kanpp 40 cost.
