Buy Monsterhunter for PC although it is on xbox?

I bought monsterhunter world on Xbox one x in the gamepass and wanted to know if I had to buy it again for pc.

Since you obviously have the gamepass for Xbox, you only have access to Monster Hunter for the Xbox. For the PC you need a PC Gamepass.

By the way, you did not buy the game, did you? But the right acquired it as long as it is available to play.
