Hi. I have an Intenso external hard drive on my Xbox One.
It started cracking (scratching) very quietly yesterday while I downloaded updates. The current update has suddenly become significantly slower (from 35-50mbit to 2-5mbit).
The hard drive turned off while I was reading about it. When I booted up the Xbox again today, the hard drive worked without the noises for a few minutes, but then they came back. All updates, except this one mentioned, downloaded at normal speed. Is the hard drive damaged?
Most likely yes. If you want to keep data, you should copy it to another hard drive as soon as possible
