Both next-gen consoles are coming at the end of the year: PS5 and Xbox Series X.

I'm convinced of the PS4 and will therefore get the PS5. Unfortunately, I don't like the design of the console so much, but that's also a minor matter.
Otherwise I find that Sony has the better exclusives compared to Microsoft.
The Last of Us, Horizon, Spiderman, Uncharted, etc etc…
Probably the PS5, but not at the time of release, but rather at the end of 2021, when some NextGen titles are out and the price has dropped a bit.

I would get the Playstation because I think it looks a lot better than the Xbox. Also, I've always had Playstation and it wouldn't make sense that if there's a console that's backwards compatible now, switch. Also, the Xbox controller is kind of weird.
So first of all I'm not going to get any. Only when my ps4 is broken and / or I can no longer get games for it.
And that's the reason why I would choose the ps5. The games from the ps4 should still run on the ps5 and I already have the games for the ps4. And I'm pretty happy with the ps4.

For me, the controller is probably exactly the reason why I will also buy an Xbox. I haven't liked the PS controller for the past two generations, and the Xbox controller was just love.
Sony already knows why they modeled their Xbox controller.

I believe that once you get used to one controller, the other can be difficult to play.
I always had both consoles and used them the same amount and for the same length of time. But since I had the direct comparison, I simply couldn't make friends with PS controllers.

I totally agree with you, the controller has always been a lot better. Not used for military purposes (including for drones).
