I had until recently the first Slim (4th generation) what was the difference to the newer Slim? Probably even quieter / more energy efficient? Better drive?
The Xbox 360 E (the real name) was released as a PR-like promise by Microsoft in 2013 alongside the Xbox One, to prove that the Xbox 360 is still supporting for a very long time, and that the online servers should remain active for a long time. In addition, the console is similar to the design of the first Xbox One.
Technically speaking, the 360 E is mathematically less powerful than the 360 Slim. However, this has nowhere on the console negative impact. - Also the power supply has been changed. While the 360 S has a 2 pin connection, the 360 E is a 1 pin. The only major advantage: while only selected 360 S consoles have a 4GB of system memory, all 360 E consoles are equipped with memory without exception. Incidentally, the RDOD (Red Dot Of Death) problem was further reduced, and the special Wi-Fi chip was improved, the danger of being unable to find a network was eradicated in the 360 E.
Any questions?
