This TV for the Xbox Series X?

Would like to have an opinion on this TV. It's the only one with 4K, 120Hz and HDMI2.1 that I've found affordable space. OS, apps and other functions do not interest me because I use the Xbox as an all in one system.

It hardly gets better and more modern. I think you should be well taken care of with that.

Actually everything fits. For me personally it would just be much too small.

I would just watch real product tests again to see how it actually performs. At first glance, I can't find anything about the input lag.

But you should be aware that only extremely few titles will actually run at 120hz at 4K on both new consoles. There will really be very few exceptions.

th

I've already thought about that. The same model is 100 euro cheaper with a 60Hz panel. Then the better choice? Input lag is relatively low. The information is missing from almost all TVs.

My PERSONAL opinion on LCD devices from LG: They have an IPS panel with the associated poor contrast and black level. Especially if you also want to watch films with a cinema feeling (dark room) with it, I would advise against it.

For around 1000 euro there's already a very good LG B9 (OLED) from last model year, which also has HDMI 2.1.

Thanks for the tip. But the hobby has to have its price limit somewhere.

I expect significantly more models with HDMI 2.1 for next year, so hopefully there will be cheaper models. Now is a bad time to buy if you want a future-proof device.

If you can live with the poor contrast, the LG is definitely not a bad device. But for me, contrast is the most important feature of a television.

So if this model is not much bigger, then I wouldn't save on 100 euro either. 😅

You don't know what's going to happen in a few years. The consoles may be better exploited by the titles, and there may be even stronger models (which I rather doubt).
