I would like to buy a hard drive (500GB-1T) for my Xbox One. But I would like one that is not from Microsoft itself because they are unnecessarily overpriced. Do I have to pay attention to anything when I get one? Do I have to have a certain program on it to make it work (did I hear something similar) or can I just get one?
Would also be nice to send me Amazon links from hard drives that work 100% on Xbox and are not too expensive for performance
Did you connect them to your Xbox and know that they work on a console?
No, so I didn't even buy the hard drive myself, but according to customer reviews it runs on the Xbox, and actually all USB hard drives should work (at least I think);)

You do not have to pay attention to anything, but format it via Xbox before using it for the first time. The console also shows that.
Those from Microsoft are not really Microsoft but licensed from Seagate which are really overpriced.
