Xbox one and Xbox series x?

I wanted to ask what it looks like with the use and games of Xbox one and the upcoming Series x.

at the moment I can't imagine buying the Series x at release. I currently own a one x.
but does that mean that when the Series x comes out, the One x is no longer a usable console? Or can you still play and have fun on the Xbox one x just as well?

A new release does not change the functionality of your current console…

Why should your One X be unusable? Your games can continue to play.

Online servers remain alive for a few more years. Of course there will be fewer players online in the games you play, but nothing will become "unplayable" for now

Do the servers ever go off at all? I mean from the 360 they are still there and Microsoft say I think they will continue to support the Xbox one x right?

Servers always go offline at some point, but we're talking about many many years here. By then you are already in your mid-90s. In some games, the publisher / developer also depends.

So if I don't buy the Series x for the time being, will I still be part of the community as an Xbox member? And can play games?
