I want to record a game for a project using the video recording function on Windows 10 from XBOX. However, when I press Win + G and start a recording, the error message appears after about 10 seconds:
There's currently nothing to record! Please play and try again.
It worked a day before and I didn't make any other settings that could hinder the recording. I also play the game in windowed mode!
Can someone help me?

It may be that an update for the GameBar came during this time and the recording function no longer works.
Try to record the game in full screen mode

As a last measure, you could still repair or reset it in the Xbox Game Bar's app settings.
(Windows search "Xbox Game Bar" → right click "App Settings" → click the corresponding button)
