Nintendo Switch Docking Station broken?

For a long time now, I have put my switch into the docking station again. But there was no transmission on the TV screen. When I put the switch two, three times, it went on for about 1 second. I have all the associated plug connected but the station does not light up (below actually green) and the screen of the switch remains colored. (In the past it always worked great with the transfer). Do you know what that could be?

Probably, as you described, the switch was only used in handhead mode and so the USB c port was open and there it has dirt, dust, hair etc stored, where now the contact with the docking station is no longer given. Carefully clean with a halved q-tip. Maybe it works.
