Safe with me or at home?

So I go abroad for a very long time with my family for the next vacation and I always have a little paranoia to leave my things somewhere when I'm not there for a long time and wondered if it would be safer to take my Sacgen with me abroad?

Yes, unfortunately the problem is that everyone lives in a distant foreign country (where we also go on vacation) which is why there are no family members who can take care of it.
