Today after a few years I took my old Nintendo 64 console out of the basement to play a few games like Super Mario or Zelda after 2 or 3 years and get some nostalgia… At first I played Mario 64 without any problems, account was there, everything was fine…
Then I saw Zelda Majora's Mask, which I was a little afraid of as a child (I'm 17 now) because of the Ben Drowned Creepypasta, which was confirmed as fake anyway and the game is generally very dark. Finally I put in Zelda MM, which I had already played through a few years before.
Then it started: My account was deleted and I was disappointed. I created a new account anyway and wanted to play a bit.
When the horror kid stole the horse and the ocarina and you could walk around freely for the first time, I saw with the selected items (the 3 yellow buttons on the top right) that there were 3 ocarinas selected. Then I opened the inventory and saw something very frightening, the masks page and the inventory page were full of ocarinas… Still I played on.
When I left the bell tower for the first time as a Deku link, I saw that I had no heart display at all in the top left. The dog in front of the bell tower jumped at me and for some reason I died straight away… (2 times).
Nevertheless, I kept playing and went to the fairy. I spoke to her to be able to collect the remaining fairies and to get the attack from Deku Link, but I just died during the conversation, whereupon I got goosebumps and changed the game.
I'm actually still shocked and have absolutely no understanding of what is going on with my game, especially since I want to play again for the first time after 3 years and my score is simply no longer there (strangely, neither did my father's 20 years ago). I've never had cheats anyway, which could make that happen.
Has any of this happened to anyone, can anyone give me answers? I have to think about it all the time and I'm still very confused.
Is this the start of your own creepypasta?
I thought so too. If it isn't, then unfortunately I have no idea either.
While weed isn't known to cause hallucinations, anything less won't do any harm.
Sorry, but Creepypasta in software is the most unbelievable thing imaginable.
Let's limit ourselves to the one possibly true core: the missing scores.
Modules have a battery storage which - as the name suggests - is fed by a battery. Typically a lithium chip battery of the type CR 2032. After a good 20 years it is not unusual that such batteries give up the ghost and can no longer supply the volatile memory with electricity. As soon as this is missing, the memory is emptied and the saved games are gone.
CR 2032 can be thrown for 20-50 cents, and there are plenty of instructions on how to open the module and replace the battery on the internet and on YouTube. You can't restore a game state with it, but you can play and save again at least for the next decade.
Someone was probably joking. Either you rented the game and someone cheated, or someone played it when you weren't there. Take the module, clean it as a precaution (dip a Q-Tip in nail polish remover and use it to clean the metal from the module until the Q-Tips are no longer black), then restart the game and delete all files (the saved games) and then you can reasonably start all over again.
Can't actually be, because 2-3 years ago I played the game myself and since then I have put all games with the console in the basement and since then it has been untouched. But thanks anyway!
Sorry but I think you haven't read everything completely xd. And on the subject of weed: of course cannabis can have a psychedelic effect and trigger slight hallucinations, but that's another topic…
Why do you say Creepypastas are Incredible? Did I say something different? I only said that Ben Drowned scared me back then but of course it's fake xD.
And as I said, 2-3 years ago I played through Majora's Mask and Ocarina of time etc., only with MM the accounts are suddenly missing
And I wanted to upload the picture of my inventory with the many ocarinas, but unfortunately it has more than 8 MB… I can send the picture to you somehow differently if you want. I knew that I was not being taken seriously😅
Oh man😅 I knew that I was not taken seriously. But I just can't explain it to myself and what would I get from inventing some text for half an hour? 😂 I also took pictures of my inventory with the ocarinas and the missing life display, but unfortunately I can't upload them because they are more than 8 MB have
Yes, I can only explain that to myself that the game is somehow damaged and not everything is read correctly by the console…
I took your question seriously. I just wanted to give you a little shuffle in the direction of "I'm writing my own creepypasta".
