I had to send my switch in for repair a few weeks ago. It was reset, I logged in again with my account and downloaded all cloud backups… But now I noticed that no more hours had been added to the account since then. The best example is Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Before the reset, I had 15 hours of play there, meanwhile the game (which also counts) also says over 37, the switch still 15. It is rather a minor matter but I'm confused…
This often happens when you have not yet downloaded a new Syatem update - once the update has been installed, the game hours should be displayed normally again. If there's no update, a complete restart of the switch can also help. The Switch's game hours counter is generally pretty bad, and doesn't work for many as it should. Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it.
Yes, but I personally like to see how many hours of play you have. I have restarted the latest update and the switch several times since then and it seems to work again in XC2 but somehow not in other games. At Smash, for example, I gambled with buddies for a few hours yesterday and also play it very regularly, but the counter hasn't gone up in weeks: /
