What to do if devices have been taken away?

Ok, that's a stupid question now and that's why there will probably be stupid answers saying that I've used it way too much, but it doesn't matter.

So, about a week ago my mother brought my iPad, my Nintendo 2ds xl and my laptop cable to her friend.

My mother said I used the things too much, although that's not true at all.

So I have used my iPad maybe 3-9 hours (NOT all at once, with mostly long breaks), my Nintendo 2ds xl not for months, and the laptop maybe as long as the iPad, but not together, so when I use the I used the laptop, then I used the iPad for a maximum of 1 hour.

(There are people who use their laptop or whatever for longer, and they either don't take it away at all or maybe just take it away for a few days)

My mother then said that I could have the things again this Sunday, that's okay too, but then she said that I won't have the devices until NEXT Sunday, because her friend won't be back until next Sunday of no idea what's coming.

So now there will be answers like "Then do other things, you don't always have to use these things", but it's raining, it's wet outside and I'm already doing other things like painting, drawing, reading, practicing the guitar, singing, dance, … (And I'll start studying for school in September, I'll be back in school on September 14th)

And now the real problem: Next week Sunday is the 6th and then I only have 8 days of vacation and yes, it probably doesn't make any sense now, but I just can't wait another week (I can, but it is very difficult) I just don't know what to do, it's vacation and yes, I've already said everything 😭

And another problem: During the holidays I have more time to gamble and all that, and when I have to go back to school, I have less time.

And yes, I went swimming and everything, but it's about the equipment, I'm just bored, when I get it back I only have 7 days of vacation. 😐

And one more thing: I don't know (anymore?) How to do surveys, so probably write it in the title or in the question, so sorry, I just wrote the survey in answer 1.

If you now, let's say, do more for school, you don't have to do so much when school has started and then you have the time to do other things again. Maybe you can still meet up with friends or do other things until Sunday.

Well, if you are not yet 18, your mother decides how long you can use the devices. If you need the devices for school, you can of course complain to the school management, who will then clarify this with your parents.

Otherwise, each parent reacts differently. You just have to see for yourself how you deal with it. In principle, of course, it makes sense that you learn to deal with it, but if you don't do anything productive with it, then it's understandable that your mother will take the stuff away from you because she probably gets along without it and doesn't know that part of your hobbies is on it based.

I mean, of course, I don't know both sides of the story, but in my opinion, if you really use your equipment too much, a break can be quite healthy. But I think it's unjust not to keep the promise, not to give it back after the agreed time. I also think that you could actually arrange things differently if you sit down together and negotiate a schedule or something like that.

I know how you feel. That's how it used to be for me. But you should also see it as an opportunity and think about whether there are any books you want to look at.

In the worst case, you can still go to your friends and gamble a bit. Then at least you had real contact with them again and not only via the Internet, would strengthen your relationship
