What device should I buy?

At the end of the year I always get around 300 euro (as a gift) and I wonder what I should buy from it.

Should I buy a PC (most PCs are hard to buy for the price)

Or should I buy a Ps4 or another console e.g. A Nintendo Switch?

Weigh the need for the console or the PC. For a PC, you would have to put more on it, as you say, which is why the Ps4 is more suitable. If I were you, I would just wait until the time comes and then maybe save a little. LG

Why not? Do you already have one? Everyone should have one. The sooner the better.

If you are not sure what to do with the money, put it aside until you know what you can do with it. Simply buying something "because you have some money" is not a sensible way of dealing with money.

Such purchases often end up in almost new condition on some shelf and put dust there.

For a PC you need - as you have recognized yourself - significantly more money, besides the PC you also need the necessary peripherals. In my opinion, a PS4 makes no real sense to buy it anymore because the new PS5 is due for release at the end of the year.

Just save yourself as much money as you can and if it should be any device to gamble then a console would be the best choice. You can get stable hardware over a longer period of time than a PC can offer for relatively little money. Since you will only receive this money at the end of the year anyway, it would make more sense to purchase a PS5 than to buy a PS4.
