Use Nintendo 3ds charging pad when loose contact?

My Nintendo 3ds has a loose contact on the charging socket and since I do not want to have it repaired / because it is too expensive for me, I'm considering getting a "wireless" charging station, which you put on the power and just like the Nintendo loads. In theory, it should be able to load normally again, right? It is really annoying to have to bend the cable totally just to be able to charge the 3ds… So does that make sense if I get such a station?

If you are talking about the original charging cradle, which is used to charge the 3DS via contacts, then yes, that would avoid your problem.

The 3DS, on the other hand, does not support inductive charging.

Yes, I mean this shell that you connect to the power and then put the Nintendo on it and then charge it. I don't have mine anymore and would probably buy one, but that would be stupid if it didn't work
