Connect NTSC-NES to the German power grid?

Is it possible to connect a Nintendo (not Super Nintendo) from the NTSC region (USA) to the power grid here in Germany? I would like to avoid the thing breaking or flying around my ears.

In Canada, the USA, Mexico and some northern states in South America, the nominal value of the mains AC voltage is 120 V (formerly 110 V). For larger consumers such as air conditioning systems, double the mains voltage of 240 V (previously 220 V) is also common. The mains frequency is 60 Hz. This means that the power supply unit supplied with it can't be used here.

However, if you know the output voltage and the current required for the device, you could use a "universal power supply" for it.
These usually have different plugs included and a switch with which you can set the voltage required for the device.
