Media Markt pickup in the market problem?

I've been really desperate for the customer service from my local media store for a few days now. I got an Animal Crossing New Horizons Nintendo Switch online at Media Markt on June 11th because it was limited in stock and available for immediate delivery.

To my great regret, I chose "delivery in the market" as the delivery method, but there was no other way in my situation. At first everything went perfectly, I received the order confirmation and the invoice by email, as well as the expected pick-up date: 15.-16. June.

But that didn't work, because no pickup confirmation was received by email. Nevertheless, I gave them time until Wednesday. On Wednesday evening, however, I called, an employee assured me that the order number is still registered and the Switch is already on the way to the market, and gave me a new pick-up date: 18.-19. The thing should now be delivered June.

However, that was also nothing. However, a new email arrived today: the… Return slip?! What am I supposed to do if I don't even have the switch thanks to its great planning? On the Media Markt site I didn't find anything on the topic, whether they just send the thing by email or only on request.

I'm really confused now. I looked for recent reviews on Media Markt and Saturn. It seems that some who bought the switch in the same period as me have already received it. Just not me! I would finally like to have the switch and would be extremely sorry if it comes to some stupid mistake and it is canceled or something…

So my question is: does Media Markt send its customers return tickets for fun, or has something gone wrong there? Not that they think I already have the switch?

I hope you share your experiences and tips with me! Regards, Lenny

If you pick up the goods on site, you must also sign a corresponding pick-up certificate. If this is not the case, nobody can accuse you of having already received the goods?

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late feedback. I called again to inquire about the status of the order and ask what the return slip should be good for.

An employee then told me that the goods were still somewhere and that the return slip was actually a mistake on their part.

Well, that was a couple of days ago. I still haven't received anything yet. Really disappointed with Media Markt. Probably screwed up my package somewhere and don't want to admit it.
