PS4 internal hard drive is no longer detected, how to fix?

I have a really annoying problem. I recently bought a new Samsung 1Tb SSD for the PS4 because the old one had become too small and a bit too slow. At first, I pushed all scores to the cloud and later (almost) dragged everything onto the new disk. The next day I accidentally deleted a part of the cloud. I thought nothing of it and wanted to put the old record back in to push the deleted file back into the cloud and then copy the rest to the disk. However, I can't access the disk anymore. The Playstation always wants me to connect a USB stick and download the software again. Could someone please help me here? Unfortunately, I'm not the technician and could use the help of someone who knows about it well.

I think the PS4 knows that the disk was changed, and therefore wants to reinstall the software. I think that's the risk, if you remove a plate, the device starts now and then reinstalled.

Hm, the new record continues to work. I just can't use the old hard drive any more.

Only exactly on the old record are just the scores that I wanted to push back into the cloud because I had accidentally deleted them.

Try connecting the old disk instead to your PC to copy the files to a stick.

I don't know if that Works. The data is encrypted.

Actually that has to work, because the hard drive was already installed in the console and was set up. So do what the playse tells you. Get the appropriate software from the Sony side and a USB stick. This must be formatted exFat or Fat32, otherwise the playse will not recognize it. But skip steps 3 through 5 in the setup (think they were) and update ONLY the firmware. Should go like this…
