Clone PS4 HDD?

I'm in the Death Safe Mode screen on my PS4. I've already tried everything, but before I do the factory settings, I want to save my data (scores, accounts, games) (if something can still be saved). Can I remove the hard drive from my PS, clone it to the PC and then transfer it to a new hard drive, which I then use (since I suspect that my current HDD is damaged or even destroyed)? Is that even possible, and if so, will a new hard drive work properly? I know that a hard drive is given a key code and therefore can't be used in other systems. But uploading the old data to a new HDD should work, right?

There are certain cloning programs, for example I use Acronis as a boot CD.

This will clone the hard drive 1 to 1 and then it should be recognized just like the previous hard drive.

But just copying and pasting won't work!

Moin RetroGameLord,

how do you want to save data when the disk is already broken?

Scenario 1: Your disk is broken - in this case your data is lost if you have not backed it up in the PS Cloud.

Scenario 2: The PS4 is broken - in this case you can remove the disk but can't use it anywhere else due to the hardware unique key.

You only have the option of backing up data from a catastrophic failure and restoring it later if, for example, you Install another plate as described here:

PS: There would of course still be the case that only the system is damaged on the software side, but the scores may not be. Problem here with cloning you clone the damaged system with, so unfortunately pointless.

If the disk is broken, he can no longer clone anything; if the software is damaged, he clones it too, unfortunately both in vain. Acronis would of course be perfect for cloning in and of itself.

If the disk is defective, you can be lucky… It may just take an extremely long time to access it.

But yes, these are of course 2 aspects that should be given.
If something can be cloned (because of a defect) then everything is cloned, including broken files.
