I'm planning to play a game on Playstation 3 a second time, for nostalgic reasons. I was going to play this on my second account to collect trophies. However, I gambled on the game on this account years ago. So my question would be: Is there a way to delete game progress only for that particular account without losing progress on the other account? If not, is there maybe an in-game way to play the game from the beginning? (The game is GranTurismo 5). I would be happy if I got an answer.
Phew, good question.
I'm doing this without a controller in hand, I hope you understand what I mean ^^ So the only thing that would come to my mind:
On the homescreen on the games tab, up there. There would have to be 2 choices, which means something with memory. All of the scores should be in one of them (I only think of this account). You have to search for the game, click on Options (triangle) and then Delete.
If there's a copy button where there's delete, please connect a stick and copy it to it, I'm NOT sure if it will not be deleted on all savegames.
If you have any questions, I'll be happy to get the PS3 out and have a look, just report.
So I already knew how to delete the saved data. I wasn't sure whether this only applies to the selected account or to the entire console. I felt like I spent half my childhood playing this game on the other account, it would be a shame if that were gone. I never thought of copying, thanks.
