I've been playing a lot of F1 and Assetto Corsa lately and now want to buy the G29 Logitech steering wheel. Is it still worth it since Ps5 will be released in December? Could the G29 still go on the Ps5?
I have read that it will work on Ps5. I don't know 100%.
Thank you for your prompt reply!
What does the PS5 bring? I only know: a resolution in 4k?
Otherwise? I play on my PS4 in standard resolution - not even in HD. Who of course prefers sharp contours and bright colors…
In terms of the game content and the quality of the games… What should change big what? "Sharper than reality"? Unreal hot?
And yes, of course: every old technique can be played on a new one (no guarantee - inform yourself)
Guess pure. It would be assy of Sony-Logitech not to be able to run the part on the PS5. But Sony likes to lock itself up, so you never know.
More eye candy much more fps that's a very good reason
The Ps4 is now 7 years old and still far from photo realism
I strongly believe that the steering wheel will also run on the PS5.
I would definitely NOT recommend buying the Logitech G29. The likelihood that a Thrustmaster steering wheel will work on the PS5 is much higher.
It was the same when switching from PS3 to PS4.
You can find more details here: https://gaming-lenkrad-experten.de/wird-ein-ps4-lenkrad-auch-mit-der-ps5-kompatibel-sein/
It is a little more detailed there.
Thank you. Now get me a Thrustmaster T150 Pro. What do you have
No problem. The T150 is a great entry-level steering wheel, so you won't go wrong! I have a T300: D
Don't forget that these are just guesswork. It may still not work with the PS5. I also hope that my steering wheel will work. The chances are at least good.
The last question. Do you have the T300 with 2 or 3 pedals, since I noticed that the 2s are made of plastic.
