Can you just start games from the external PS-disk?

I use a PS4 with an external hard drive.

Now I wanted to play a specific game on the console of my girlfriend. Can I connect the HDD to your console and play as usual when the game files are on the disk, or do I have to first set the console to read the files from the external disk?

My concern is that it is all about a particular game and all others should be read as usual from the internal hard drive.

Hope it is written understandable.

That would have to work smoothly. The important thing is that you sign up with the PS account on the Playstation the game belongs.

For example, if you bought GTA V with your account, it will not start with your friend's account or Playstation, even if the game is installed on the hard drive.

This is a copy protection from Sony, because otherwise any illegal ".iso" files could load from the network and so every game umsomst could play on the PS4.

So it's ok, if you sign up at the Playstation of your girlfriend with the account that owns the game.

Yes, that's clear, thanks.
