I bought my computer over 10 years ago and replaced the graphics card once (not because the old one was bad, but because it was broken). The performance was consistently better than that of the latest game console and will also be better than that of the PS5. At that time, the PC cost around 800 euro, now you would get it for around 300 euro. Of course, monitors and peripherals also cost, but you also need them for the console, and most of all, most of them last forever. My father uses a mechanical keyboard that looks like it was from the 80s. Still works, and is (according to him) the best keyboard you could ask for.
